If you have never heard Planet Funk before, do not expect the first remix to explain their true character. The Planet Funk Mix is quite different from their usual Electro-style music. The only song that I can relate to with this mix from Planet Funk would be "Parrafin" from their first album. Back to commenting, this mix is nothing short of a great mix. The usual drum beat (everyone knows the uhn tss tss, uhn tss tss) and the great deep bass guitar beats makes this for one great emotive remix. It definately got me.

The Christian J Mix is more of a spacey mix with floating beats and sounds. Not many (or no) vocals ae to be found in this mix except for "Still Awake". Didn't quite like this mix (as much as the previous one :P). It lacks those vocals and bass guitars to kick the quality up to another level.

The SUD Mix is nothing to be missed. It really promises a lot, with its bass guitar notes and slightly skecthy beats, it makes it for a great mysterious song. The introduction of the song really creates the climax by the repetition of "So Careful Now, You Don't Belong" over and over again. And with the extra noises joining in for the finalé, you burst into a great beat. Towards the halfway mark, you can expect another "introduction", but more screatchy as the vocals are recorded on top of each other and the mounting drum beats brnig you back to another section of the song with different instruments. A real classic for me.

The Grayarea Mix is probably not the best mix; it's too Indian with its tabla drums. It might of been nicer probably without the tabla drums, but what am I to say. It still sounds great, especially with the revised sections, like the faster guitar riff.

All in all, this is one great mix CD, showing a great variety of mixing styles. Well done guys. Especially for Planet Funk and SUD.
