ICR / Mav & Twister (7) - Change Inside (ASC Remix) / The Tubes

In my opinion one of the best offshore releases, I regularly spin both sides.

The "Change Inside" remix is an extremely versatile track - the intro works with almost any beat structure, the breaks are hard enough to spin with the rollers and its got enough washes and ambients to be a harder track in a more mellow mix. Good work by ASC.

"The Tubes" is more classic offshore, after about four measures the beat turns into something very different from the usual DNB two step, alot more reminiscent of Drums Depression Decade than say, Peshay. This track is huge, but it needs a nice quiet buildup, start with something minimal, work up to it. The interesting beat seems to get people who either cant or wont dance to DNB on the floor, and the break down at 4:24 is amazing.

This 12" was a real treat for people who appreciate experimental tracks from Cov Ops, Warm Communications, Inperspective and the like, while also being a little more diplomatic towards the dancefloor crowd.
