Remixed reissue originally released in 1977 as the Columbia album Raw Power KC 32111.
From tracklisting: track 3 originally titled "Hard to Beat".
Back sleeve quotes Iggy Pop: "People kept asking me - musicians, kids I would see, 'Have you ever thought about remixing RAW POWER?'"
"Everything's still in the red, it's a very violent mix. The proof's in the pudding."

I'm a big fan of the original mix, while admitting that it certainly ain't even close to being "audiophile". No highs, no lows, and lots of distortion in between, which is ok for Rock n Roll, of course. But I have to admit Tha Ig did an excellent job with this new mix. It's still amazing, it's different, and it sounds better sonically, though I can't really put my finger on exactly why. Check it out, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
