One of the best dub techno records ever for me, especially "1 a.m." is brilliant with its incredibly deep sounds and breathtaking hi-hat programming. Another masterpiece from Rod Modell. To call this "another Basic Channel rip off" is somehow out of place to say the very least. If you like dub techno you will love this.

After first hearing OCTAL02, which I liked due to its nice TB303 content, I was disappointed to find out that this release was just another minimal techno record trying to sound like Basic Channel.
The best track on this is 5AM, which is a nice beatless ambient track that makes this record worth buying. Otherwise, it's a second rate Basic Channel rip off.
