Lotek is less an album and more of a compilation of early Implosion Quintet material. All the tracks were written on a Playstation 2 and burned directly to disc, which goes some way to explain the Low-tech claim and why the tracks are generally pretty quiet.

This was later re-released for free under Creative Commons as part of the 'Werks: 2001 - 2005' compilation which collates all the PS2-era work into one album. Lotek and the subsequent EPs, Spidergram and Problematika, chart the development of the Implosion Quintet sound as well as the concurrent demise of the original set-up.
