This is a landmark release in music history.! This Bongo driven monster cut is the first track that Dj Kool Herc used to prolong the percussion breakdown, or "break" to keep the folks dancing hard at his parties! Along with "Apache" from the same band this cut is a bedrock of Hip Hop music and is still sampled to this day.
