Nice collaboration of Simon "Hallucinogenius" Posford and Richard Trevor of the Green Nuns fame.
'The Loin Sleeps Tonight' starts off weird with some singing that dates back to who knows how far... my wild guess it's from 30s. The singing slowly morphs into Green Nuns styled funky acid goa. I feel Trevor's contribution is much more visible here. The track's okay but never really lifts off to higher realms.
'The Loin King' is the winner of the two. Here's where Posford's talent shines through. Great melodies and soundscapes the way only mr. Hallucinogen can deliver. There's another version of this track btw - it's called 'Night Flight Through Babylon' and can be found on the obscure SWIV 3D soundtrack. Which is "remix" of which is beyond my knowledge.
