Notes

Issued in a die-cut Tommy Boy company sleeve.

The center labels on this edition are exactly as pictured. The track titles are not in boldface. The durations are all correct, but the titles of tracks B1 and B2 are mistakenly swapped; the correct titles are shown in the tracklist here. The arc of the "Distributed by" text at the bottom of the labels is parallel to the edge. The writing credits under each track are for P. Schwitters rather than M. Konar, and the publishing credit includes Little Dexter Music. Below the durations, the info along left side of both labels, with the human credits removed, reads as follows:

BPM: 120
Pub: T-Boy Music Little Dexter Music (ASCAP)
Produced and Arranged [...] for Wide Angle Productions
[...]
Mixed at Tommy Boy, NYC
Mastered [...] at Frankford/Wayne, NYC
©® 1986, Tommy Boy Music, Inc

Below the artist name is the following text:
Purchased from Wide Angle - Twin/Tone Records

A very similar edition has boldface track titles, and the "Distributed by" text is not parallel to the edge of the labels.

A similar edition swaps the durations (side A's durations are on the side B label, and vice-versa), correctly lists the titles on side B ("The Nest" Remix comes first), and credits M. Konar for writing and Murat Konar Music for publishing.

One of the most beautiful tracks of the 80's,or of any decade.Despite being a Hip Hop/Electo freak I love the vocal almost as much as the instrumental. After selling my copy about 20 years ago,I have very recently bought another copy and to me it sounds better than ever,it is up there with any other electro classic.geat beats ,synths and vocals atmospheric and full of brilliance and i don't think I am using hyperbole.

Running will be one of my all time classics. It combines two styles that I died for in those days, Electro Hip Hop and New Wave. It´s like listening to a Soulsonic Force Track with the Pop mood of ABC. There´s nothing comparable to this song and even plenty of bootleg remixes of the 90s and nowadays can´t catch the original spirit.

Always the instrumental for me because of the scary hi nrg vocals though these have grown on me over the last (near) twenty years. still it's the instrumemtal thats the one for the b-boy breakers with soul and heart. a hidden tommy boy classic.

This is the first big hit from this group and to be honest the only one real good. We can say it's almost a classic.
