Inner City - Praise

Every time I listen to this legendary album, I wonder if is there any chance we can hear again tunes such as the ones Inner City made there.
On 'Praise LP', you could hear that soulful, spiritual, intense and futuristic atmosphere shaped by the combinations of Kevin Saunderson's beautiful synthesizer lines and Paris Grey's magnificent vocals.
Even if 'Paradise' (1989) made a stronger impact due to the smashing hits "Big Fun" and "Good Life", "Praise" is the long play where the duo were at the peak of their power, including the fact that many of the tracks had special guests on the co-production (like on "Let It Reign" with Altern 8, and "One Nation" with the pioneer Juan Atkins), as well as Members Of The House's vocals on "Pennies From Heaven", and the remixes of Leftfield on "Hallelujah" and of Altern 8 on "Follow Your Heart".
"Praise" is the result of a sophisticated Techno & House perspective with a music inspired on the most heavenly-soulful Gospel's roots (like what Mahalia Jackson used to do during the middle of 20th century, for example).
All the title's themes seem to go deep about the essence of the human condition, and, more than that, suggest the need of a closer approach between the men and The Creator.
