Mix A2 is possibly the track on here which cranks the mentalism to the maximum! It's a random sequence of stabs, apparantly made when his sampler crashed. Nasty.

These are not five mixes of the same track, but five entirely different tunes.
The most striking thing about them is that all the A side tunes plus B1 don't have basslines at all. They are wild synth attacks over crisp breakbeats, interrupted by occasional voice samples. The lack of basslines lets the bassdrum fully kick through.
The suspicion that Mike Ash lacked the ability to make more complex tracks is removed by B2, which is a techno tune - and does have a bassline.
