The ‘Planet Birth’ remix by Trüby Trio was a Gilles Peterson Worldwide nominated cut of 2004. Good call but it didn't make the top twenty. Next up is an acoustic version of ‘O Preguiçoso’ that is chilled out samba. The B-side starts with a Raw Deal mix of ‘Peace of Mind’ which is more discofied than you would have expected; possibly a grower as there’s some moogy bits or possibly, one that you never fancy at all. Bruno E is the last one on the case on ‘Criança Das Ondas’, which starts with a ‘Theme from Shaft’ riff in the background and sort of slopes along in no real direction, which is a real shame as Flora Purim is on vocals.

Nice cover graphics by Andrew Arnold. No idea what it supposed to represent but looks like a cross between inkblots and sea molluscs to me. Interesting web site at http://www.aagd.de.
