The whole EP is excellent and The End is probably the most famous tune of the four with the haunting bell sample throughout.
However I assume (as I wasn't there) that On A Mission.. sounded like absolutely nothing else at the time.
It is incredibly fast, probably near 170bpm and focuses around minimal bleeps and sub bass, whilst a very 'drum and bass' beat rolls out.

It's tunes like this and Noise Factory - Breakage #4 which really did lay the blueprint that would be known as drum and bass a 3 or 4 years later.

Groundbreaking seminal Drum & Bass from Doctor G that when released was a completely new sound to me, lovely atmospheric strings, really tight programming, samples and drum loops. I still think this sounds fresh today (2007) so back in 92 it really was fantastic to hear this out on a massive system while out raving. Great Days! Its also worth checking out the second release by the Invisible Man as well as the other output from this label.
