A new release by Jeremy Jacobs. After his first three releases on M_nus and Clever Music, I wasn't really sure what to expect. Quad, Program and Twilite are some of the most stripped-down minimal tracks I had encountered till then. The first time I heard it I absolutely did not like. To little variation, and I missed a nice, strong clap-drum. the second time I started to discover all these miniscule changes in the different tracks. and it is still getting better every time I play it. I am just not sure about the B2-side. It's a bit dull in my opinion, especially considering there are also four other tracks in the mp3 release. Maybe the best one of them could have been put on the vinyl. I think it's a bit of a shame that you can't get all 9 tracks on vinyl, so that you can actually play 'em live in a set.
