I Just Wanna Say This Is How You Play The Piano...........

Another massive Italo House piano tune from 1990, this classic JT release featured in many DJs sets back in the day, & became pretty hard to find at one point. Those who had it and were willing to part with this excellent piece of wax, could command £25 or more.
The track begins with an atmospheric feeling about it, created by the Korg M1 Universe preset, with bongos played ever so slightly in the background. Over the top Joe T Vanelli calmly states... "Look for love, seeking for you, don't be afraid", & then abruptly, the vocal "Action!"
From there the most unforgettable & amazing jazzy piano riff is let loose, and continues to dominate the whole tune to the very end, with the accompaniment of a few synthetic bleeps, what sounds like an alto xylophone played half way through the song, JT telling you "Don't Deal With Us!" and Princess Angy's alluring vocal.. "Look for love, seeking for you". A classic Hip House style beat flows continually through the track, with the occasional chant.. "Everybody get funky!"
The 'Piano Jazz Cappella' on this 12" has been sampled by several producers in the past (Liberation / Tight Control / Nexus & Blowback etc.), but in my opinion, nothing beats the original' of 'Dont Deal With Us', a proper feel good tune, that filled any dancefloor back in the early 90s, and still to this day has the potential to cause havoc on the floor.

If you were looking for the ultimate hands in the air piano house track then look no further. Once voted by Sasha as his favourite track of all time and a big Hacienda number, this record just oozed dancefloor appeal and would certainly work today with the right crowd at the end of the night! The piano sounds great from the start and could be mixed or played on its own outright, I would prefer the latter so to appreciate this classic track, even the piano accapella version in my opinion would work. Stolen, sampled, immitated but never beaten - Don't Deal With Us.
