I love this album. While not every track may be one for the clubs, it has provided me with repeated enjoyment whether at home, working, or in the car. Dream Machine starts off with melodic piano notes, yet before you know it the sound is shifting with subtle beats kicking in and continuously morphing with a low-lying bass firing up. Time flies and you realize it's ten minutes in to this epic and then the whole song reverses itself fading back into the melodic keyboard. Vintage Point is another nice track, but nothing compares to the title track, Displaced. I don't even know how to describe it other than a perfect journey through techno, and a journey it is with this track always requiring a complete listen by me. The last two tracks are also worth mentioning in particular, comprising of perfectly balanced and exploratory techno. And of course the rest of the mix doesn't disappoint!
