Superb minimal Dub Techno masterpiece from the canadian producer. This was the record that brought both the label Sender and this talented Musician to a broader recognition.
The Highlight on this EP is the 9.39 minute long A-Side. A massive flow of massive bass and dense programming build the backbone of this track. This stays solid and nearly unchanged throughout the whole Track; like magic this long composition never gets boring - every few moments comes in another Hi-hat, a synthie line or some other musical detail.
So instead of getting bored you're likely to listen to the track again instead of being fed up with it !!!
5 years ago this type of minimal music was exciting - a brand new style.
Jake Fairley has become one of the most accepted figures in the genre and is even also very successful under his Fairmont aKa.

The B1 Track 360 is in the same vein as the CN-Tower tune, just 3 and a half minute shorter and uses a slightly different groove . Film Reels ends this EP with a shorter 4 minute listening track, it lacks the mighty shuffle groove with the Dub Build-up that is so typcal for Jake Fairley's Dancefloor Trax. It is another fine Tune though.
CN - Tower ranks definitely among the best trax by Jake.
