This EP really does sound like a collaboration between Bissmire and Robert Hood, with a little Rachmad thrown in too. Both sides are mini minimal masterpieces that take the Hood/M-Plant blueprint and then are further punctuated with Bissmire's fondness of sharp spikey synth cracks at a break neck pitch. Each tune undulates and tricks the ear with it's hallucinating pin points of drums, hats and karaoke bouncing ball basslines.
I'm surprised at the mediocre rating for this EP. I think it's a real gem and if Rob Hood was to play it, then at least he wouldn't have to get his screwdriver out to pitch up the 1210s!
