Info sheet:

Intuit-Solar is proud to announce the release of the Japanese Telecom into our catalog. Continuing the Intuit-Solar theme of presenting the more creative and innovative work of Detroit based electronic artists, Japanese Telecom features unreleased material from a world reknown electro producer.

The band Japanese Telecom specifically designed this LP to reflect this technologically saturated Asian society. Each piece is different window to the world of Oriental siliconism. In addition the contemporary Japan the band have also tried to keep in touch with Japans rich and valuble historical past. The balance is important so that the listener can recieve a simultaneous double view of the past and present. The band also felt that no one since the late YMO have realy given the Japanese culture an outlet through music, and this is the perfect time and the perfect theme for the new millenium. There is much more to the Japanese social array than seen by the unaided eye, if one wanted to, one hundred Lp's could be written and it would still be the tip of the iceberg.
Most of today's musical entities lack the attachment to serious theme's and japanese Telecom hope to properly ressurect this most important quality in the world of recorded music. When music has a theme it has an axis upon which it can be connected centrally as opposed to a many disjointed concepts, which usual ly leads to haphazardness. To the rightful homage of Japanese culture and to the entertainment of the masses, this LP wishes to achieve these needs.
