Destined to be a modern classic. In fact, it already is. From the initial drum frenzy of "Caravelle," it sets the standard for future jazz or whatever you want to call it. This is it, in a nutshell. The songs all shift and change, keeping them from becoming stale or predictable. "Konclave" starts with some abstract electronics before the rhythm slinks in and transforms it into a digital groove. "Introspection" hss got to be one of the best downtempo tracks ever, with its shifts from calm and quiet to dark and rhythmically complex. "Fedime's Flight" glides along with a vocal sample that sings about butterflies (in Spanish). Necessary and irreplaceable.
