So many memories of this release at Chicago parties in 95-96. 'Drop Dead Zone' becomes the finale of the prototypical mid-90's Chicago warehouse jacker: a raw pounding 909, a consuming siren and some squelch worked for good measure. It's as if UR's 'The Seawolf' mated with an in your face Paul Johnson or Armani basement track. Stripped down brilliance - a mark of an era.

A contender for the finest chi house record ever.
Apart from myself, only DJ I ever heard play it out was DJ Rush.
This was the vibe - a sort of africanism through 303/808/909..check the triplet snare patterns!
