This mix really takes me back to the Stompy, Sunset and Wicked parties in the Bay around this time (mid to late ninties), goddamn those were the shit. This mix does an excellent job of capturing the energy and mood of that time. So many house mixes these days are smooth to a fault (and afraid to cross genres). Don't get me wrong, I love a deep moody minimal house/techno set to chill out with a spliff and glass of red, but to get the party going and your ass shakin' this is what the doctor ordered.
