Jerome Derradji mix on A side is extremely powerful DJ weapon. Hard-hitting acidic rhythm is completed by passionate vocal samples. Altogether it creates something that can take crowd easily into ecstasy. B side is different affair - laidback but still very groovy - much closer to original song.

This re edit was a result of me playing the accapella to Jerome whilst he was in London.
I'd picked up an Italian 12" which included an awesome accapella complete with cowbell going through it at house tempo. I use to mix this into house and tunes at 120 bpm.
We both decided it needed to be tweaked for the dancefloor!
You can check out more Ok_Ma material on labels such as Still music, Sick Trumpet, R2, Universal vibes and we should finish our album by the summer

This is an awesome record, everything about it exudes quality, from the simple yet rich percussion to the feeling behind the vocals. The synth snippets are reminiscent of Visage's "Fade to Grey" adding a totally different dimension to the track.

When I first heard it I was immediately put in mind of Carl Craig, because of the stripped down disco/afrobeat drum patterns meeting something more electronic. The two differences really complement each other well and go to create something truly unique.
