Jii Hoo - Let Me Luv U

'Let Me Luv U' is pure dope. This record is the highlight of Jori's mid nineties french influenced house period (and he did made some other great stuff at that time!). Although almost every other Jori Hulkkonen production/remix is pure quality and although his sound is more abstract and polished nowadays (take the 'Dualizm' album for instance), this release probably is and will stay the best cut he made. The deep and raw vocal driven epic journey of 'Let Me Luv U' deserves to be called and spelled as what it is: g.e.n.u.i.n.e. c.l.a.s.s.i.c.

Jori Hulkonnen used speech samples from "Foxy Brown" whithout asking for the copyright. After a while from the first publishing F-Com noticed that this (great!) record seemed to be a big club hit so they licenced the sample later. There should be released also the original + 3 remixes later on this label. Future classic, I`m sure there will follow some cover-versions...
