That album is not that bad. It is a strong "B" work with influenses of old- and nu- skool Goa-Trance. There are certain types of listeners who whould like the style of the album. Pieces are pretty well-produced.
Filteria's remix is something that makes that album stand out. Wicked guitar riffs, amazing basslines and high-energy-powered melodies will get you dancing right away!
I would not recommend the album for it's mediocrity, but the Remix of My Revolution And Yours makes it definetely worth checking out.
Filteria's remix of My Revolution And Yours is single handedly responsible for rescuing this album from suffering the worst possible scenario, which includes getting instantly forgotten by everyone. Luckily, Jannis Tzakis' take on Jikooha's number, previously released on a freely downloadable various artists compilation courtesy of Old Is Gold Records, is a monumental stormer of a track, which patiently builds, with frequent outbursts of furious energy, until reaching a grand finale, with a two minutes plus uber melodic climax! It's just fantastic, not even the inclusion of guitar riffs can tarnish the overall energy delivered here.
Unfortunately, the same can't be said about a single other track off this album: cheesy samples about alien cultures & spaceships, nitzo influenced kicks and screaming and "try-too-hard" melodies with atrociously corny electric guitars are on the menu throughout "Revolution spaceship". It may please some, but this particular listener is left very unimpressed. But please, if you manage, do check out the Filteria remix, it is truly awesome.
