A curiosity indeed ... Playing this LP might make you wonder if your needle suddenly went bad ... well it didn't ... it's just that bad a recording; probably one of the worst ever to reach vinyl. Besides the technical poverty of this release, it's not a high-flyer artistically as well. It's nice to hear -someone who sounds like- Jimi do some blues and soul classics, but the sole purpose of this release can only have been growth of Astan's bank account.
The only exception to the above lament is "I Should've Quit You" which features some frivolous guitar work in which I actually recognize something of the Jimi Hendrix I like.
