Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5
Review by Philby Aug 14, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Third 'white label' mix from Fleming, but this one is on a different label and moves away from the idea behind the last two which was to try and put unreleased exclusive tunes in the mix. This means that more of the tunes would be already out and heard for a while but I don't think it is really a bad thing. For me the first CD is definitely the better, especially early on with deep pounding tracks like 'Radiance' and 'Perfect Storm'. I think it would have been better off without 'Cellophane' and maybe even '7th Son' but I guess that's what he was playing and they still fit in with the mix. On the second disc there is some more exclusive material with great tracks by Whirloop and The Digital Blonde that were only released recently this year. Other stand out tunes are 'Supreme Space' and the closer '3rd Time Lucky'. Overall I prefer the deeper edge of cd1 to cd2, but definitely a worthwhile release if you are into trance, from progressive to psy.
