While many know of his famous cousin, the youthful John Dahlbäck has already quickly established his own flavor and sound. This is a solid EP that blends warm, smokey tones and rich basslines, and while much of the mood is introspective and somewhat melancholy, but the tracks are still structured for deeper house floors. This record is somewhat simply arranged, and yet there is an admirable attention to detail and sound that simply shouldn't be missed.
