Julio Bashmore ‎– Chazm / Footsteppin'

It's all about cycles : on the delicious "Footsteppin", Julio Bashmore is undusting a nice deep broken house vibe quite unheard since late 90s/early 00s delights such as Swag's "Good Buddy remix" for Groove Armada's "My Friend" or Jazzanova's classic one for Ian Pooley's "What's Your Number" (to which i suspect Mr Bashmore might have borrowed some beats). The whole thing freshened with just the right dose of modern cut-uppery, (slight) ruffness and sound-design. Lush, slick, nice.
