No doubt, there's a hint of the smell of cheese about this LP. It's rather pretty and predictable. Don't expect to be surprised. Yet I've become a fan of it precisely because it has no pretensions to be spectacular: I like the piano-house characteristics and unobtrusive synthy tweaking. Plus I find the spiralling arps created from simple melody and delay just the right side of trance for me. Simple and cool like Tread.

Easily one of the absolute BEST cds from Kompakt, EVER...which is suprising, given it's non-Kompakt-like mix of House, Ambient, but most of all Trance (shudder)...which actually works so well it's amazing nobody's pulled it off quite like this before. Stunning, beautiful chords on propulsive beats and an immense emotive depth make this a near-perfect album.
