CD is standard 5" size, but the portion on which data is written is only 3". The soccerball graphic is 3.75". This leaves the outer edge completely clear.
Soccerfield-inspired traycard is made out of green felt.

I organised myself a copy of this record, just to find out that this is more a release for the Kid606 freak rather than the habitual ambient listener. Most of the pieces are not really worked out and find a premature end before building up a real atmosphere.
However, the record as a whole is not bad, it's "nice", with some good sequencer stuff that reminds of German electro masters like Schulze, Schröder, Tangerine Dream or Mind~Flux (the sequences of the latter sound very related, but they did it a couple of years before), but not really ground-breaking.
This is one of the best ambient EPs or albums(?) ever created I'd say. Deep filtered sounds to extremely shimmery bright ambient soundscapes.
This is by far my favorite Kid606 release. Mostly because it's totally different than all the other stuff he does.
It's such an isolated piece.
It puts out this weird aura that gives you a funny warm feeling in your gut. Sounds and feelings that almost make it seem like some of these tracks were recorded in the mid 80's. Very warm and soothing with great, deep emotion delivered in a perfect subtle way.
