Excellent album that never gets boring - Although there are hardly any vocals or crossover style expeditions 'The Emperor's New Clothes' finds many ways to entertain the listener with a broad array of sounds, beats and surprisingly well crafted melodies. The best Song by far melodi-wise is Track 5 from CD 2 "Only Memory Is A Good One" = such a beautyful Tune ! It sure has lots of commercial appeal. It's not included on the 4 LP Vinyl Set. So i guess Klue will release it as a 12" later ? We will see ... He definitely succeded in keeping up the high quality standard we are used from him since 'No One's Listening Anymore'. He actually surpassed my expectations - highly recommended for every lover of good electronic music - Too good to be listened to only by Drum 'n Bass fans ;-)
Klute has a certain unexplainable sound, who real dnb enthusiast love. His tunes have this special "feeling".
This album is no disapointment at all, like all other Klute albums! I especially like "Hell Hath No Fury", it's a great, wonderful tune with nice fast drums and atmosphere.
There is no tune here that i dislike, although i'm not the greatest fan of the second disc, it's all dnb for me!
