I think I'll probably end up reviewing every Ron Trent record at this rate!! What can I say...Another classic! These tracks are PHAT!
'Remember' has vocoded vocalist(maybe Trent?) speaking of the good old days of early house music "Do you remember.... when we used to live for the night?".. Laid over a hypnotic bassline, snares, filters & reverbs & some truly amazing live synthesiser work here. This is Trent & Nicholson again at their peak!
'On My Mind' is a more uplifting track with minimal (repetitive) vocals, a guitar loops in the background over laid with the 'Trent bassline' & again, sublime synth riffs.
There's 'Masters at Work' & there's the partnership of 'Trent & Nicholson', they are all from the same school, making exemplary house music...Budding House producers 'Prick Up yer Ears'.
