The remixes here might have some appeal to someone with a very limited knowledge concerning the historical evolution of electronic music in general. Anyone raised on Kraftwerk will more than likely find these remixes offensive and sacrilegious in nature. They sound nothing like Kraftwerk, nor Hot Chip for that matter. Perhaps the old adage "if it isn't broken, then don't fix it" best sums up this deplorable mishap.

If anything, the very concept of this recording is theoretically intriguing... but in reality is nothing more than a foolish parade of fantasy; I'm left disappointed.

My god! i think one of the worst thing i ever heard in the last years. It's quite difficult explain what "Kraftwerk" means for me and thousands of electronic music disciples, but certainly i think it's a hard experience trying to make a good remix of their works. Everytime i heard these remixes i was really upset about it, with a rare exception of some DJ Rolando's or Francois Kevorkian's works due to the respect i've got about these artists. Tracks may be remixed to give something more to the club or radio audience, but i think that Kraftwerk's sounds doesn't really need something more to be good for dancefloor or anything else, their music was a perfect influence for all techno detroit's pioneers in mid eightees such as "Cybotron" and should be the right influence now in these days to search a new sound looking forward without re-working or re-editing what is already perfect. I respect other opinions, but this is not my kind of stuff!
