Happy Hardcore is the genre of the electronic music scene everyone has some kind of relationship with. Either you hate it or love it, it's there and it won't go away.

From the UK and RFU Recordingz (with associates), comes Hardcore Underground (Volume 1), the first release in this new mix series, released on Krafty Records.

Through 3 various discs, this is a journey through UK Hardcore evolution. From CD 1 : Kurt B2B Stormtrooper - The "Party Like It's 2006" Mix, a retrospective view on the genre is presented. Starting of on a 1995-1996 vibe, moving forward through the end of the nineties and through the beginning of the new millennium. Loaded with timeless classics, the craving for more grows stronger and stronger as the end of the mix approaches.

CD 2 : Fracus B2B Mozz - The "Dalliances With Desideratum" Mix begins with a nice vocal track with the men in charge, Fracus & Mozz. The build up is in general very good and leaves a solid impression. Tight mixed, fluent transitions and a lot of energy. Everything you want out of a Hardcore mix.

CD 3 : Darwin B2B Cube::Hard - The "Unfettered Underground" Mix represents the freeform side of the genre. Unlikely classic Freeform / Trancecore / Kenneth mixes, this mix takes you further and shows the freeform genre from multiple sides. As it builds up and ends this triple mix perfectly.

All over, this is a proof of life, development and evolution in a genre judged and predicted dead in the middle nineties. If you're looking for a new hard dance album, this is the one you should pick
