Starting to describe record is quite hard. It was the only record that you actualy could buy at the dj booth in legendary club Boccaccio aka the "holy grail of new beat". With the whole wall plastered with the cover and the track itself hammered beyond belief everybody knew a legendary track was in the making. Basicaly a really fucked up and incredibly slowed down version of "the residents" "Diskomo". Reworked and with impressive dramatic stringmelodies on top, this one did not fail to impress on the dancefloor. Much more in the league of "Flesh" by "A Split Second" then for instance crappy "Confetti's" new beat this one stood the test of time. Behind this one hides Olivier Abbeloos (of later Quadrophonia and T99 fame) with his first release (He's the O in L&O). Behind the "L" hides the infamous bouncer "extra ordinary" of the club "Luc Devriese" ....

From that special year of 1988, a well produced, drammatic piece of dark, serious, scary sounding New Beat with classical influences. This track has a beginning, a middle, and an end which was pretty much unheard of in that experimental, innocent era. Those T99 sounding stabs seem like they were invented here long before "Anasthasia" was produced in 1991. Not surprising really as one part of T99, Quadrophonia, et al "Olivier Abbeloos" helped co-produce this song. Influences can be heard throughout Belgian/Dutch rave tunes following above release from already mentioned T99 but also Angel Ice, Praga Khan's - Rave Alarm, The R, DJ PC, Channel X etc etc (and those were just the well known ones), not to mention the influence this sound inadvertently had on the UK Hardcore scene. Some tracks should not be forgotten, if not for historical purposes.
