We are back - Magic track, is permanently etched in my mind as a great sound of raving in the 90's
Definately not an anthem, this track came out at a time when artists recorded what ever they wanted not just what people wanted to hear. The sub bassline in this track is dangerous
Lowfrequencyoscillations...
Rated 5/5

When this came out it sounded like nothing else. Still does. Totally digital, freaky and distorted, with a heavy "clonk" disposition that made me initially think it might be Sweet Exorcist. At that point I hadn't registered the distorted "Low Frequency Oscillation" vox.

There. Are. Many. Imitators. But. We. Are. The. Truuuuue. Creators..... We're Back!

believe it, LFO stand proud among the most innovative producers of the early 90s.

I love this record. There was a lot of pressure for LFO to come up with something to rival LFO. How could they? It's like Orbital coming up with another Chime! It wasn't going to happen but what did pleased me. At that time techno had gone through the 'bleep' stage and this (as well as Sweet Exorcist's 'Clonk') signaled the (Oh I can't think of another word for it!) CLONK phase. And off it clonks: #We are the true creators; We're Back!
We'll never know whether it was Sweet Exorcist or LFO who came up with the 'clonk' sound (I would say Sweet Exorcist but I'm always open to opinion) but I love this example of it.
And just to add "New Age" is one of the most powerful tracks I've ever heard! It is monoliphic!

I don't like this vocoder techno so much, it is too simply maded, also for this time, after the ingenious "LFO" track a year before I expected a more progressive release.
