Occam's Razor is probably the first piece of "Progressive Trance" from a time when there was "only" Goa. Mark Allen's hand is apparent here and gave us a taste of what was to come from his later projects like Quirk, Rotatum, Hopefiend.
It's pure dancing pleasure, a nosy, noisy, fun-blasted joyfully bouncing odyssey through one sound and a whirling, whipping, urgent compelling beat. Mankind will dance to this as long as it manages to exist. It just keeps on pouring every substance through your membranes that you need to keep up your life support system at the speed of joy.
Although Big Brain has a somewhat housey, progressive beat too, its sounds and building structure reminds me more of the epic, spiritual, classic Goa kind. The second masterpiece on this release none the less.
