Netherworld is an outstanding track, that features the deepest analog-synthlines, very complex synth programming and some spectacular textures, a trashed vocal sample and a rhythm that pumps like a steam machine. Songoriented build up and a nice female vocal sample round up for an all time classic, that expands the boundaries of trance by ignoring the rules and elements that todays stereotypical dancefloor progressive/hard trance tools rely on.

Netherworld (Vinyl Cut) is Oliver Lieb at his pumping best. He takes this interpretation down a more prog trance route than he usually known for. As was common back in 1997, the track begins with a breaky intro, before settling into a tough hypnotic groove. The melody is somewhat understated; instead there are cosmic/new age type synths swirls that do indeed take the listener on a journey to another world.
A briliant track by Oliver Lieb. 10/11 minutes journey into deeper shades of Trance. The build up is something like break-beat. But then, the break sets in and the beauty comes out. A gorgeous melody, this is deep!! It reminds me of dreaming about foreign planets or something. Just travelling through dimensions !!
