'Switch' is a simple groove, catchy scratchy jazz bass/grooves (sounds like sampled from vinyl), a subtle theme & half sung half spoken voice snips with the occasional sound wash - all make for that magical Bukem blend : grooving drum n bass that is actually quite soothing at the same time! A tune that grows on you for the body & the mind, and great in the right mix.
'Drum Tools' is another kettle of fish altogether, but equally as good. The title here pretty much says it all, though it definitely isn't a DJ tool as implied, but quality drum and bass with the occasional orchestral/sfx hit here and there. A lovely building and densely layered drum sound which is perfect for a little bit of mixing though so compelling it doesn't like to be mixed out!
If this is the shape of the upcoming LP then bring it on Danny!
