Phoenix, is the Labelle album that was way ahead of its time. It really is a rock-opera. Patti and Sarah's voices are at that height and Nona's writing couldn't be better. This album should go into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This album puts you into a different world and I believe the only album that catches the true essence of the group called, Labelle. There re no disappointment on this album, every song can stand on its on.
