Lake Eerie - Sex 4 Daze (I Want It, You Can Get It)

This is a great dance tune. One of the best examples of early Cut & Paste Acid tracks. An excellent tune from that era. Riddled with samples with a sexual nature like "The sound of me coming!!" Keeping in theme with the title.

“I want it, you can get it” seems to resume the idea of a sensual breakbeat house mélange with dark and underground elements of Frankie Bones' tunes. This is one of his first released tracks, divided on the Brooklyn side and the London side. The first one has the Club Break version with a broken house, fat bass, tiny little acid elements, a famous hip hop vocal sample, among many others and, of course, the dark ambiance. The King’s Highway Club Break brings a similar structure, with fine sample vocals. The Neptune Avenue Detour dub has a stronger breaks approach, with more a sampladelic use. The Gotta City Breakbeat gives the percussive element more evidence. The other side reminds us of the English acid house era, but with a Frankie Bones signature. The Club version for ‘Sex 4 Daze in Acid’ has a real bad boy hip house base with a sweet line of 303 and vocals. There is also a dub version of that track.
