Larry Heard ‎– Black Oceans EP

Extremely high quality deepissime housemusic EP, with one foot in some faraway, enlightened electronic future (the gliding/dreamy textures, the totally hypnotic and well frequenced basslines, especially on "Burning 4 Love"), and the other rooted in the deepest housemusic tradition (extremely well balanced and inspired spacejazz licks, always perfectly crafted as usual with Mr Heard).
At the time of writing this (late 2011), these tracks orginally released in 1994 are still sounding like a lush and spiritual (without any patronizing connotation) trip to the future of (dance) music.
Awesomeness here, and clearly the sound of someone humbly bringing some light and love to the humankind!
