Laurent Garniers Original Mix is very wellknown for its driving "accelerating" bassline sound, a sure shot on the dancefloor. About halfway into the track the breakdown drives people insane, still with that very same sound, not a bit cheesy. Jeff Mills RARELY does any remixes (about 5 in total in his solo carrer) and he turns the original smash into serious thunder. Ultra-hard TR-909 distorted kickdrums, lots of reverb and filtered delay effects make this a somewhat rare and worthwile appearance. This pressing was sold out within a month and still fetches high prices as a collectors item.

Does anyone know that the Jeff Mills remix is not as good as Laurent's original mix? I did not even realize it until a friend had played me the original mix. I was very surprised to say the least. All the praise that Mills gets made me think the original mix? Call me crazy, but the original track is the perfect techno track which really did not need any further remixing, but I guess having a Jeff Mills remix is good for sales. I just prefer the original.
