Led Zeppelin ‎– The Song Remains The Same

I disagree respectfully. I also am a life long lover of Zep.I love JPJ's bass and Bonzos Bass Drum's and On my system it sounds great (This pressing.) I think the original pressing sounded more like a sound track to a Movie...Oh that is what it was? I never have really liked the Sound Quality of many live albums...Deep Purple Made in Japan? Frampton Comes alive? It just seems like all these thirty plus year old recordings seemingly sounded better in the day! The tape quality is what it is and unlike properly stored and the right vintage of wine it dose not get better with age. send me your copy and I will gladly send you a CD of this recording(If you really want to hear bad Bright,no bass)
Oh please wiki RIAA curve and understand why the power to be at that time employed the Curve...(Hint) Radio...

I have been a lifelong fan of Led Zeppelin especially of this album and bought it with great expectations ..and got SO dissappointed. It sounds like my RIAA is out of function or that John Paul Jones isnt part of this band. Almost no bass and much to much high level. I can hear an enhanced clarity but also much too much high level noise that simply just disturb my ears. And deep bass is simply not existing. I am now waiting for the CD in the hope it will sound better ..and that feels absurd. Of course it is not possible to direct any complaint over this to the responsible ..but I hope he reads this ..I suggest he should have his hearing checked.
Of course it looks excellent a real eye pleasure as an album ..but only that. Absolutely impossible to listen to ..worse than the first CDs ..and the music is so fantastic!
This is definitely not the definite vinyl edition of this fantastic album ..lets hope for the right one to come! I expect I can then exchange this free of charge to the correctly mixed / mastered / pressed whatever is the problem here. And it is not my high-end system not working ..all my other 5000 LPs sounds fine incl my old US pressing of the soundtrack.
