Well, I guess I'll just join in and kiss Mr. Vincent's ass a little too....
One of the best producers of techno and house music around. He has the magic touch right now and has for a bit, a really unique and diverse sound and always keeps it raw and underground which means a lot to some of us. I think this is my favorite release by him which says a lot in the company it keeps--always solid, nasty EPs.
One observation I'll add about Levon's productions is that he's extremely patient and demands as much from the DJ playing his records or the listener. That's a good thing in my opinion. Also, his tracks generally offer more substance than many of his contemporary track-makers--a lot of his tunes consist of two or three little movements or sections instead of just a loop of a couple elements like we've come to expect from "tracks." He often insists on building and arranging his music like a song--with a (sometimes lengthy) beginning, middle and end (which sometimes comes as a pleasant surprise as in "Pivotal Moments-"). This kind of bold individual style stands out and says something I can respect. Not that there's anything wrong with "tracks..."
Also, Somehow Levon Vincent's persona really seems to come through in his records. There is an intimacy to his music that's striking. Whether it's a big banger like "Impressions-" or an emotional deep tune like "Pivotal Moments-" they always feel special and made with love.
Track Revs/Cost is just a brilliant. I got totally lost in it. Excellent to bring it back with but still keep it tense. No kickdrum, just the snare and hats to bring you along with dub-techno`ish pads and sinister bassline with a sax on top, Wowness!! This release is a hats of release.

While the other reviewers have mentioned Revs/Cost and Impression of a Rainstorm, which both are stunning tracks (especially the title track is a great club track!), the true highlight for me on this release is the B2: Pivotal Moments in Life. A great deep house track with a techno feel which wanders into the deep with a great melody. Beautiful arrangement too, and just when you think it's over, a nice groove pops up. Great music, thanks Levon!
They painted the sides of very public buildings and prided themselves on dangerous art. Adam Cost was best known for his 90's "Cost Fucked Madonna" sticker campaign in which he tried to put a "Cost Fucked Madonna" sticker on every Walk/Do Not Walk sign in Manhattan and apparently succeeded in his mission. From what I understand, he did not actually fuck Madonna.
In Vonnegut style: Levon Vincent is a producing /dj'ing machine.
Impression Of A Rainstorm is another excellent release in a series of excellent releases. Revs/Cost even uses a horn sample (saxophone?), and it's done very tastefully. The hats are great. Levon always has great hats.
