I remember buying this feeling rather uninitiated to Tim's sound - there's a quirkiness in his tracks that define him as being a really unique artist. Words just wont describe his productions generally - you'd be better off jerking and fiddling around - trying to get into the mindstate that this kind of electric eccentricity conjurs. Tim's artwork is great - on most of his releases you'll find his freaklike images. 'Horseback Riding' is cool and mildly comical. The added bonus of Armando appearing with his remix hat on is a credit to D-Jax for maintaining the connection with chicago minimalism, when a few had begun to forget what an influence it's sound had made on european techno at the time.
