The Conversation track is killer, but the one on here is 'Why'd You Fall?' The morphing of the vocal and synth line is unbelievable, superb, futuristic and downright dope house music. Still drops people to their knees on the right dancefloor, and is one of many reasons why Lil Louis is so rated among his contemporaries and fans alike. The guy is a dancefloor genius. Essential release that should be owned by any DJ who knows what a club weapon this record is.

Guys like Moodymann took serious notes when records like this came out.
As said; a staple of Derrick Carter. I first got properly introduced to this track which I've always had around as long as I can remember djing via an old Derrick mixtape from his days at the long defunct Foxy's. A continual roller coaster thrill ride mix with three tables and vocal acapellas all over the place and then this... Last call, last call for some alcohol!! And then, the last dance. I still get chills just thinking about that mix.
You know the night is a good one when this record comes on. Goes even better with doubles.
A timeless and essential piece of wax for any self respecting head.

I'm pretty sure the track that still gets heavily played by many with the horns is in fact the "The Story Continues", many a bootleg have listed it as the conversation, Moton listed it as "Why'd U Fall", but it is B1 that is the tack as far as I can tell from listening to it.

This is the only official pressing of 'The Conversation' track which still gets hammered today by Derrick Carter etc...all other pressings are bootlegs..rare US only promo!
