Linkin Park had set the standards with their music, and almost made each song on their CD a success on the charts. There talent in Nu Metal music has allowed them to create something fresh and new. Songs like "One Step Closer", "Points Of Authority" and "In The End" really spoke to people with problems in life; getting through the next day, relationships, work, stress in life; they were able to talk to the whole crowd. That is what made their first album so great.
