Be aware! If you're expecting an album full of great breakbeat tunes as found for example on Liquid's classic Future Music EP, you're wrong. The sole exception is the original "Sweet Harmony" which was tagged at the end of the album; it's so different from the rest, it wouldn't have fit in anywhere else. All other tunes are soft, commercial sounding affairs somewhere between trance, house, and pop. This really has no guts, little imagination, and tries to suit everyone's living room.
"Sweet Harmony", two more half-decent cuts ("Rise" and the housey remix of "Liquid Is Liquid") were not enough reasons for me to keep this album, so I sold it from my collection, which is a thing I do very rarely! I'm really surprised this album goes down so well with so many here on Discogs. I'm even surprised that XL Recordings released this album and didn't tell Liquid to find some other fool.

Bought it in 1996 and still one of the very best albums I have in my entire records collection. I have never felt more emotion in a "dance" music album. Rhythms are particularly well done (between binary and breakbeats) and synths are often melancholic. The whole is very coherent and simply beautiful.
This is a masterpiece.

This album is full af melancholy and yet uplifting tunes. Tracks 1,3,4 10 and 11 are my faves but I can enjoy very single track. Finishing the album with 'Sweet Harmony' was a good choice
