One of the truly great CDs in my eclectic collection. If I said 'breathy electronics', that truly doesn't convey the intricacies of this fantastic soundscape from a master head technician.
Highly recommended if you like the structured improvisations of plaid or autechre. Completely different approach- not as starkly insectile as autechre, airier than plaid, but I get the same storybook feeling when listening from start to finish.
Oh, and the cover is also one of my favourites, heh heh.

I've got the feeling this is one of the most underrated records ever. The track 'Roomservice' is fucking amazing. 'Synthex' too. Even the album fillers are brilliant! Get this!
For those who don't know: 'The Living Room' is an alias of techno maestro Orlando Voorn. This album doesn't have any dancefloor smashers but all tracks are interesting melodic soundscapes in their own right, beatless or not.
As you might have guessed, this album is mainly for home listening in your LIVING ROOM.
